I was part of the team designing and creating video content for the digital screens to be trialled at Coles Southland as the Coles’ 2022 innovation store. This involved the design of video content to be played along newly installed digital screens along the shelves throughout fresh produce and at the end of each aisle.

Monster Ends (Aisle Ends)

  • 12 Aisle ends each with two large LED screens and 12 shelf edge screens

  • Consider not all placements will contain all elements. Screen messaging needs to be able to stand on its own.

  • Convey “Value” messaging for specials

Fresh Produce Wall Case

  • 15 cases each with 3-5 rails spanning over 18 metres

  • Design needs to allow for price tickets to be placed anywhere on the rails

  • A combination of fresh abundance photography, inspirational imagery and messaging

  • Convey “Fresh” messaging

Fruit & Veg Bar

  • No price tickets are displayed on these screens

  • Messaging to match in store POS

  • Playful approach with rolling fruit and veg can be considered

  • Convey “Fresh” messaging
